Our goal is to reopen the tennis courts as soon as legally allowed in a safe manner. I keeping with this goal, we will be opening up 2 courts on or approximately June 8th, 2020. We will open up the 2 courts for use by our MEMBERS ONLY. To do this, we will be enforcing state and local guidelines so as to comply with the requirements set forth by these governing bodies.
We will continue to monitor state and local rules for any updates or changes.
As for now, the following rules will apply to the Stillwater Courts:
Open up 2 courts until further notice (Court 1 and Court 4)
Courts to be used by MEMBERS ONLY
Do not disturb the play of others when entering or leaving the courts or retrieving tennis balls
Animals, as well as object (ie: bikes, roller blades, skateboards, remote control cars, etc.) are NOT allowed on the courts. NO Exception!!!
Please take home all trash, disposable water bottles, empty tennis ball cans and used/unwanted tennis balls.
Tennis lessons will only be conducted by Tim Clay, Stillwater Tennis Director and/or associates. One-on-One outdoor lessons are permitted now. Small group outdoor lessons will be allowed in Phase 3 of Restore Illinois with appropriate social distancing followed.
Reservations MUST be made prior and can be made 48 hours prior to starting time. Instruction for reservations to follow shortly
Maximum one time slot per day
Tennis Courts open 8 am - 6 pm (Monday - Sunday)
Court Time at 8 am...10 am....12noon....2 pm....4 pm...
A 15 minutes "grace time" allowed before canceling time slot
Member must enter courts through check in door (Keypad door)
1 hour 45 minutes time slots
MUST sign in at check in door with Stillwater membership care/use hand sanitizer
Do not enter courts prior to scheduled time
Members Only/Tennis Players Only/No Guest Allowed
Clubhouse and restroom facilities are closed to members
Members MUST practice social distancing at all times
Please sanitize hands at sign in and court entrance
Stillwater will follow State and Local Covid-19 guidelines
Members must bring new tennis balls and remove them when finished
Avoid picking up balls from other courts, return with a kick or with your racquet
Must depart courts prior to or on scheduled time
